U.K Crowcon MGS-1000 is a fixed gas detection system specifically designed for LNG carriers, fully complying with the marine industry's most stringent safety standards (e.g., MED certification). Comprising the GC-100 Control and Alarm System, SR-200 Cyclic Sampling System, GC-200 Continuous Online Monitoring System, and SC series Continuous Sampling Systems, it establishes a gas safety network covering key areas ship-wide, including pipe tunnels, ballast tanks, bilge tanks, areas adjacent to cargo holds, expansion tanks, and crankcase vents.The cyclic sampling system can sequentially monitor up to 36 sample points over distances up to 240 meters. The system features a user-friendly touchscreen HMI supporting Chinese/English language switching and Modbus RS485 communication, allowing flexible alarm level settings. It provides comprehensive and highly reliable gas risk monitoring for the safe operation, cargo management, and personnel protection of LNG carriers.

Product Description

The MGS-1000 Fixed Gas Detection System is designed for the detection of combustible gases in LNG carriers. The system consists of a cyclic sampling system and a continuous gas detection system. Its four main components are: the GC-100 Control and Alarm System, the SR-200 Cyclic Sampling System, the GC-200 Continuous Online Monitoring System, and the SC-100/200/300 Continuous Sampling System.

The cyclic sampling system sequentially draws gas samples from each sample point according to a programmed sequence, transporting them via sampling lines to the detection system. It is used to monitor for explosive or toxic gases in the pipe tunnel, ballast tanks, bilge tanks, and other areas adjacent to the cargo holds.

Continuous sampling is employed to detect hazardous gases in the expansion tank, crankcase vent, and fuel tank vent.
